How does one communicate the visual language of typography? This booklet is a class exercise in advanced digital typography, hierarchy, and color. Its goal is to advertise the use of Acumin, a neo-grotesque type family designed by Robert Slimbach.

01 • INSPIRATION
How were people in industry using Acumin? How could this inspire the creative direction of my project? Below, I found several multi-cultural websites that showcased different personalities of the Acumin typeface.
02 • IDEATION
Initial designs were presented in rounds of design critiques. I pursued the second design and felt that the typeface design came across bolder with storytelling rather than with specific ligatures and typeface anatomy.
